1. Scope
These terms govern the use of this website and the services EventLingua (“we”) provides. Individual written agreements for a specific engagement take precedence over these general terms.
2. Services
We provide multilingual event staffing and support (interpreters, exhibition hosts, MCs, VIP concierge and event staff). The exact scope of each engagement is defined in the relevant quote and/or contract.
3. Quotes & booking
Quotes are non-binding until confirmed. A booking becomes binding once we confirm it in writing (including by email). We may require a deposit to hold staff for your date.
4. Prices & payment
Prices are stated per engagement in the quote, plus applicable taxes. Invoices are payable within the period stated on the invoice, by the agreed method.
5. Cancellation by the client
Because we plan and pre-hire staff, cancellations by the client are subject to fees based on the notice given before the first service date:
- 30 days or more: 25% of the total fee
- 14–29 days: 50% of the total fee
- 7–13 days: 75% of the total fee
- Less than 7 days, or no-show: 100% of the total fee
Date changes with less than 14 days' notice are treated as a cancellation unless we can re-staff the new date.
6. Client responsibilities
The client provides timely briefing materials, access, and a safe, lawful working environment for the staff.
7. Staff & freelancers
Our staff and freelancers are engaged as independent contractors. We select them with care and hold them to professional standards; specific performance terms are set in their individual agreements.
8. Liability
Our liability is limited to the total fee paid for the relevant engagement, except where liability cannot be limited by law. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control (force majeure).
9. Confidentiality
Both parties keep each other's confidential information private and use it only for the engagement.
10. Website & intellectual property
The content of this website (text, images, logo, design) belongs to EventLingua or its licensors and may not be used without permission. Please use the site lawfully and do not misuse the forms or portal.
11. Governing law
These terms and any engagement are governed by the laws of Thailand, unless mandatory law of the client's country applies.
12. Changes
We may update these terms; the version in force at the time of your enquiry or booking applies to that engagement.
